Durable Power of Attorney

Durable power of attorney designates another person to indicate your wishes regarding health care services only when you are unable to do so yourself, e.g. coma, dementia, delirium.

It is important if a Durable Power of Attorney is chosen, to choose a person you trust with your life and who will be as aggressive or conservative about your medical care as you would wish.
