Remembering Star Volunteers EOPCC is grateful to have had Bill Junker and Grant Cadwallader as part of our organization for several years before their deaths. Their contributions of time and talent will continue to make an impact on the community we serve for years to come.
Locally Grant contributed to the Gettysburg National Battlefield and Eisenhower National Monument for exhibit planning, design and production. Nationally Grant has contributed to the exhibits at Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, White House, Mammoth Visitor Center at Yellowstone, Anasazi Heritage Center, Wright Bothers Visitor Center, N.C. to mention only a sampling. Internationally Grant contributed to the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Romania, New Delhi Zoo and Kanha Tiger Reserve, India, Vitosha Mountain Visitor Center, Sophia ,Bulgaria. In the photo above, Grant's daughter Gail Cadwallader beams with pride as her father explains our goals and reviews our progress in the very first phase, the deconstruction to the foundations of the old building. Scripture scholar Elizabeth Nagel stand in front of her work, removing the old horsehair plaster and mud from the upstairs. Elizabeth drove over three hours from Philadelphia for the privilege of meeting Grant A. Cadwallader, world class architect. She was rewarded for her pilgrimage and work. We were very grateful for Elizabeth’s gift of service.
